Welcome to Studio D Luxe, where dull hair comes to die. I’m Darlene, but the people closest to me call me “D.” Chicago raised me, but these days I’m creating iconic looks in the Saint Louis area.

I built Studio D Luxe for women who want more than a rushed salon appointment and cookie-cutter hair. This is where self-care meets main character energy. Think elevated details, zero pressure to be anything but yourself, and hair that makes you walk a little taller the second you leave my chair.

After 15+ years behind the chair, I’m still obsessed with the details. I specialize in ammonia-free color, precision blonding, lived-in dimension, and seamless extensions designed to look expensive without trying too hard. I also teach other stylists how to master these techniques with intention, precision, and real-world wearability.

But what really sets Studio D Luxe apart? Every appointment is one-on-one, thoughtfully timed, and tailored to you.

What drives me most is the real connection built with each guest — creating a space where you feel seen, taken care of, and genuinely confident when you leave. From breathable ammonia-free color to the way your hair moves, grows, and holds up between visits, every detail matters here.
